Responsible Gaming
Limits, warning signs, blocking tools and free confidential helplines — written to be genuinely useful rather than to satisfy a checklist.
Tele-MANAS, India’s national mental health helpline, is free and available 24×7 on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416, in multiple Indian languages. You do not need to be in crisis to call.
Start from the right premise
Real-money gaming is paid entertainment. That is the whole of it. It is not an income, not an investment, not a strategy for solving a money problem, and not a way to recover a previous loss.
Every game in every casino, online or physical, is priced with a house edge. Over a short session, variance dominates and you may finish well ahead. Over a long enough period, the edge does exactly what it was designed to do. Both statements are true simultaneously, and holding both in mind at once is the single most protective thing a player can do.
If you approach a session expecting to lose the amount you brought, and treat any win as a pleasant surprise rather than a validated strategy, you are playing in the way the activity can safely support. If you approach it expecting to profit, the maths is against you and the psychology is worse.
Set limits before you open the app
Every decision that protects you is made before a session, never during one. Once a session is running — especially a losing one — your judgement about how much more to stake is measurably worse than it was an hour earlier. This is not a personal weakness; it is a well-documented effect that the format is designed around.
Four limits worth writing down
- A monthly deposit limit, in rupees, chosen while calm and recorded somewhere outside the app.
- A session time limit, with an alarm set on your phone rather than a mental note.
- A loss stop. When you reach it, the session ends. Not after one more round.
- A win stop. Less intuitive, equally important — decide in advance what a good session looks like and leave when you reach it.
Most platforms, including 101F, offer deposit-limit tools inside the account settings. Use them. A limit enforced by software is worth considerably more than a limit enforced by intention.
Never chase a loss
Chasing is the mechanism by which an affordable loss becomes a serious one. It works like this: you lose an amount you had planned for, it feels disproportionately bad, and depositing again feels like a way to make the bad feeling stop. It is not. It is a way to make the loss larger.
The important thing to understand is that the game has no memory. A run of losses does not make a win more likely, a table is not "due", and a sequence of results carries no information about the next one. Every explanation that says otherwise — hot streaks, cold tables, patterns in the road map — is a story people tell to justify a decision they have already made.
Treat money staked as money spent, in the same way you treat the cost of a cinema ticket. It is gone at the moment you stake it, and it is not owed back to you.
Warning signs
If several of these describe you, it is worth taking seriously now rather than later. Gambling harm develops gradually, and the point at which it becomes obvious to the person experiencing it is usually well past the point at which it became visible.
- You are playing for longer than you planned to, most times you play.
- You have deposited money you had set aside for something else.
- You have chased a loss — deposited again specifically to win back what you just lost.
- You hide how much you play, or how much you have lost, from people close to you.
- You feel restless, irritable or low when you are not playing.
- You have borrowed money, or sold something, in order to keep playing.
- You think about your next session while you are at work or with family.
- You have told yourself "one more deposit and I stop" more than once this month.
Recognising one or two of these does not mean you have a gambling problem. Recognising most of them means it is time to stop, use the tools below, and talk to someone.
Tools you can use today
These are practical and available immediately — several of them do not require anyone else’s cooperation.
Inside the app
- Deposit limits. Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap in account settings. Reductions usually take effect immediately; increases are typically delayed by design.
- Cooling-off period. A short self-imposed break, typically days to weeks, during which you cannot deposit or play.
- Self-exclusion. A longer or permanent closure of your account. Request it explicitly through operator support and state the duration you want.
- Turn off promotional notifications so that a marketing message cannot be the thing that restarts a session.
On your device
- Gamban and similar blocking software block thousands of gambling sites and apps across your devices.
- BetBlocker is a free, open blocking tool available on Android, iOS, Windows and macOS.
- Android Digital Wellbeing and iOS Screen Time can set hard app timers and block reinstalls.
- Delete the app and clear saved payment methods. Friction is genuinely protective — make restarting inconvenient.
With your bank
- Many Indian banks and payment apps allow you to block gambling merchant categories on your account or card. Ask your bank directly.
- Remove saved cards and UPI shortcuts from the device you play on.
Free, confidential help
If gambling has stopped being entertainment, talking to someone helps more than most people expect, and it is free.
- Tele-MANAS — India’s national mental health helpline, operated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Toll-free on 14416 or 1-800-891-4416, available 24×7 in multiple Indian languages.
- Gamblers Anonymous India — peer support meetings, in person and online. Find local meeting information via the Gamblers Anonymous international directory.
- Gam-Anon — support specifically for family members and friends affected by someone else’s gambling.
- Your own doctor. A GP can refer you to counselling and will treat it as the health issue it is, not a moral failing.
If you are having thoughts of self-harm, contact Tele-MANAS on 14416 or go to your nearest emergency department. Please do not wait.
Helpline details are provided in good faith and may change. Verify the current number before relying on it in an emergency.
Protecting minors
Real-money gaming is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If children have access to your devices:
- Never save gambling account passwords in a shared browser or on a shared device.
- Use device-level parental controls and content filtering to block gambling categories.
- Keep card and UPI details out of autofill on any device a child uses.
- Log out fully rather than leaving a session open.
If you are worried about someone else
Watching someone gamble harmfully is difficult, and the instinct to fix it financially is usually the wrong one.
- Do not pay off gambling debts as a one-off rescue. It reliably removes the consequence without removing the behaviour, and it very often precedes a larger debt.
- Talk about the behaviour, not the character. "I have noticed you have been playing a lot and I am worried" lands very differently from an accusation.
- Get support for yourself. Gam-Anon exists specifically for family and friends, and Tele-MANAS on 14416 will speak with you too.
- Protect shared finances — separate accounts if necessary. This is not disloyalty; it is a boundary.
What this site commits to
As an affiliate publisher, we make money when people play. That makes the following commitments meaningful rather than decorative, and you can hold us to each of them:
- We publish no fake countdowns, no manufactured scarcity and no invented win tickers. Nothing on this site is designed to hurry you into a decision.
- We make no claim that any game guarantees a win, a payout or a return, anywhere on this site.
- We do not publish figures we cannot verify — no invented RTP tables, no guaranteed payout times.
- We state clearly and repeatedly that 101f.pro is not the operator and that gambling involves financial risk and may be addictive.
- We link to free, confidential help from the footer of every page, not only from this one.
If you find anything on this site that breaks one of those commitments, tell us on the contact page and we will fix it.
Take a Break
Stopping is always available, and it is always allowed
You do not need a reason, a diagnosis or anyone’s permission to stop playing. You can set a deposit limit this minute, request a cooling-off period today, install a blocker in two minutes, or simply delete the app. None of it requires an explanation to anybody.
